How to unlock wii

Ever Since the Nintendo Wii came out, the gaming world has changed. Video games are no longer meant for avid gamers who like to call themselves “Gamers”. It has become a casual and fun experience for everyone who likes to spend time with friends and family.

It will be pointless to talk about the awesomeness of Nintendo Wii because everyone in this world is familiar with it. What I will instead like to talk about is how to unlock Wii.

Nintendo Wii can only be used to play Nintendo games and view some pictures from a SD card. Other than that it’s useless (I know useless is an inappropriate word, but compared to what it can do, it is somewhat appropriate). The machine’s hardware is quite capable of doing a lot more than just playing Nintendo games. You can use it for the following things as well, once you unlock it.

1. You can play DVDs, movies, music, radio, videos from YouTube and almost all kind of media files.

2. You can backup your original DVDs and play backed up games on your Wii. This will prevent your Nintendo games from getting scratched.

Now I know there is a piracy issue here, but the truth is that those who want to use pirated games will find a way to use it. And those who respect the laws and are against piracy will continue to buy original games. There is absolutely no reason that we should suffer because people want to use pirated DVDs. Nintendo should just accept this fact and let us backup our games, but they never will. Luckily we found a way to backup our games.

3. You can play homebrew games, which are made by some very smart developers and are totally FREE. There are literally thousands of FREE homebrew games you can try.

4. You can play imported games. There is always an issue with Nintendo of playing games imported from other regions. With you Wii unlocked, this won’t be a problem.

There are many guides available on the internet that will tell you exactly how to unlock Wii. Now you may be wondering why I am not telling you right here how to do it. The reason is, that it is a very complicated process. Nintendo didn’t make the software that are required to unlock Wii, and it will never approve of it. The result is that you have to trick your Wii into installing it. It is complicated but once you know how to do it, it only takes 15 minutes. Don’t be intimated when I said it’s complicated. Anyone can do it; you just need to know how to do it.

These guides tell you exactly what to do and how to do it. They have videos to guide you through the process which makes it easier even for a computer newbie like me.

I can try to explain you how to do it, but if you mess things up then you can probably brick your Wii. If you don’t know what that means, it means your Wii will become useless and will stop working.
